Well, we really only have the Ocean Spirit and Moon Spirit, but they are up in the North Pole. And I kind of know the Moon Spirit, since the old one was... replaced.

[brb zoning in on one thing]

One of your gods was replaced?

Not really god. But it's a long story. I don't like to talk about it.

I understand. Though it must have been an enriching experience to have met this "Moon Spirit".

Thank you for the thorough explanation. There have been few detailed explanations to explain what specifically makes it a holy day.

I had a feeling some people were curious about the nature of Christmas.

Some others will look for any reason to celebrate and reduce the daily monotony. Especially in Luceti.

... It's that time of year already?

And to answer your question, most of humanity has an open disagreement with religious belief in the future, but Christmas is still celebrated at a more humanist angle. But there are still people who believe in religion.

Time passes quickly, doesn't it?

...You come from the future? [there is a pause as she processes that.] I believe that there will always be conflict regarding religious beliefs, no matter what time one comes from.

I see. And these religions have their own gods?

You're welcome.

If you don't mind me saying - you don't sound too pleased about the explanation.

Oh, I don't mind either way. But the only thing I'd heard about Christmas up until now was that people gave gifts to each other. Makes me think most people don't think much about the 'son of God' thing.
