I would like to offer the following proof that I am working on stories:
Sparks:
The Slytherin Common Room: the next morning:
“Tarquin,” said Warrington with a hint of panic, “Snape’s been by and he says that it is imperative that he sees you straight away. Do you think he’s found out about our plans for today?”
A rather subdued Tarquin looked into Chris’s pale green tinged face and gave a wry smile. Chris looked like he had swallowed slugs. He was nervous as a cat and with good cause. Today was Chris’s wedding day.
“No,” said Tarquin soothingly. “If he knew, we would be strung up in his office by now.”
“That’s reassuring,” said Marcus as he came up behind the pair.
“Marcus,” hissed Chris, “Did Bell have to spend the night? I thought we were trying to be discreet until ‘it’ happens. And did she have to scurry out of the room making that huge racket in the middle of night instead of dawn as per usual?”
“That wasn’t my Katie,” said Marcus with a smirk as he looked at Tarquin.
“It was Circe?” said a very surprised Chris Warrington.
“Has she taken leave of her senses?” asked Marcus sardonically.
Tarquin’s face got expressionless as he looked away from his mates.
“What is it?” asked Chris as Tarquin’s suddenly pale face managed to distract him from the rather quick and permanent change he was about to make to his life.
“Circe dumped me,” said Tarquin wryly, “then she shagged me. I used to do it the other way around. Poetic justice, don’t you think? She told me that her family believes that I am ‘meant’ for her sister, Cassandra, so she finished it with me.”
“I am sorry,” said Marcus seriously.
“Oh, well,” said Tarquin with a wry grin. “You can’t always get what you want, eh?”
“Circe will come around,” said Chris soothingly.
“No,” said Tarquin firmly. He looked Chris in the eyes as he said this word. Chris frowned at the utter finality in his voice.
“You better go see what Professor Snape wants,” said Marcus with a frown. “We need to keep him distracted. Try not to think about our plan while you are in his office. I am not quite sure but I think Snape has a device or perhaps is a mind reader. He always seemed to know about my wilder plans ahead of time especially if I plotted them out in Potions.”
“That’s true,” said Tarquin. He was not surprised by Marcus’s observation. Marcus was always the clever one. He liked to hide his cleverness behind a façade of Quidditch humor and insults. Tarquin knew better, though.
“I should go see what he wants or else he’ll be sniffing around here straight away,” said Tarquin as he shook the feeling of melancholy away with difficulty. He felt tired and his eyes felt gritty but his mates needed him. He squared his shoulders.

Chapter 42: Temptation
The Slytherin Dungeons:
“Honestly,” said Marcus, as another gaggle of Gryffindor witches drifted away, in an aside to Terrence Higgs. “I should just wear a sign saying where my witch is. It would save time.”
“I see the leg shackle is off for the night, Marcus,” said Alec with an amused look in his fine grey eyes.
“I was going to let you borrow it for awhile,” drawled Marcus. “By the way, where is that gorgeous witch you are going to marry?”
“I know,” said Ter as he held a hand over his heart. “Be still my heart.”
Alec scowled at Terry.
“Well mate,” said Adrian with a smirk. “Hate to break it to you, you lucky arse, but I would shag her in heartbeat. Have you seen her legs?”
Alec scowled at Adrian.
“Are you jealous, Alec?” asked Marcus with a snicker.
“Marcus,” said Alec dryly. “You forget that some people are not as fortunate as you. You are marrying for love. Your Katie would never even give these two wankers a serious look. I am not sure about my fiancée.”
“Those two wankers know that I would kill them if they even looked in her general direction,” said Marcus with a rather serious grin.
“Svetlana is shopping in London,” said Alec with a faraway look.
“On that cheerful note,” said Terry with a grin. “”I am off. Tarquin, Derrick and I have a bet tonight to see who can snog the most girls. Tarquin, that bastard, isn’t even waiting for the lights to go down.”
“I thought he was just saying ‘good-bye’ to Ravenclaw House,” said Marcus with a snicker. The boys turned to watch Tarquin kiss a brunette Ravenclaw girl rather enthusiastically.
“Why wasn’t I invited to participate?” asked Adrian with a pout.
“Your girlfriend is sitting over there,” pointed out Terry with an incredulous look.
“I know,” said Adrian with a slight frown. He gave Daria a wave when she looked at him. “But it would have been nice to been asked.”
I know, I know I am slow.....please forgive me
