I'm not all moved into my mom's house. It's great and oddly enough I managed to pull together enough furniture to fill a 3 bedroom house. Quite a feat considering I moved from a one bedroom apartment

Because he had a hard time finding a job, Jason decided to join the Army. His basic training is two months in South Carolina. Then he will go to language school in California for a year. After that he signed for a 5 year commitment where they can send him wherever he is needed. Basically, he will be a translator. We don't know what language he is assigned until basic is over.
In the mean time, I'm moved into a house that my mom had been renting out. I'm jobless, but hopefully it will be easier to find work in the Chicago area. I still have to pay for my utilities (gas, electric, water, garbage) but rent is negotiable once I have a job.
Hey congrats on the moving! Any moving job gets to a point where it feels like it's all downhill, and hopefully you're there.
Of course, usually when I get to that point, I stop unpacking and just live out of boxes for a while until I can't stand it, but you're WAY too organized for that!

My mom is about 45 minutes away (if I speed a little down 294 - which I do).
And my sister who lives in Spain is coming home this summer with her husband and three kids - they'll be staying at my house while they are here.
Deth is about an hour and a half north of me, so if we ever wanted to hang out it would be feasible.
