Well, what are the odds on that?

The castle is so empty. It's bliss! Even Mirror has barely said a word!

Last night I was so awed by the lack of students on the premesis, and more importantly, on my TOWER, that I suffered a slight bout of insomnia. No, really - I'm beginning to fear for my health. And apparently I have to run an Anger Management class? Eh? I- er- wha- why- could- ( Read more... )

Hang on -- I just got the owl too. This means, what? Mira Sinistra, my ex-fiance, is coming HERE to HOGSMEDE?

Yes.

But what are we going to do about this Anger Management class?

Yes? Yes? Is that all you're going to offer? Yes?

Anger Management class? Oh, yeah - I'd almost forgotten about that. Your sister's owl distracted me.

My sister has a tendency to distract you. You shouldn't pay her so much attention. If you ignore her, she won't have so much a hold on you.

Look - come over. We need to discuss this class thing we're supposed to be leading. And other matters.

Yes. I have employed a teacher's assistant to help me out with my classes, particularly the younger years as being a professor on top of headmistress and Order member is getting rather tiring. One Julius Harper. His younger brother is still attending.

Oh dear. Julius Harper? I taught him last year, didn't I?

Seeing students turn into co-workers so suddenly is rather unnerving.

The one and the same.

I was wary to employ a student so soon out of school, but he will be helping with the younger years mostly. During my NEWT classes he'll sit at his desk and do paperwork. He was excellent at Transfiguration and was the most promising candidate. The problem is that if he is too idle, he can be rather destructive. But never fear. I shall keep him occupied.

God. Dear, dear God.

I recall some of his idle-induced destructiveness. The milder of which was flicking miscellaneous items at his classmates in a Peeves-like fashion. And yet, he was always on top of his work! What do you do with students like that?

Well, I don't doubt your abilities in finding tasks to keep him occupied. Not to mention, there's so much to do here. On the off-chance that he does run out of work, send him my way to check over star charts and calculations.
