He wrote a lot about his trips, featuring not only England and Scotland but also a number of other countries. He made a name for himself by writing articles about the discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb for London newspapers. I'm not sure whether he transformed them into a book later or not, but if he did, I'd definitely read it too. I love ancient Egypt! It's pretty amazing that there is almost a hundred of years between us, but his words have value to me as a future traveller to the area and I feel that I'm much more inclined to read his travel ramblings rather than a traditional guide book filled with mind blowing amount of facts. :-)
I'll write about my trip at length then. :-) I hope I'll manage to see everything I've planned! A huge detailed report it will be, if so!
