It's not that I'm for incest and all that. It's just that innocent journals are getting deleted.
Take the manga Loveless for example. It is pretty much shota (which means that there is an older character in like a relationship with a younger character). I'm sure communities like that got deleted because of what they were discussing. Also communities for published books got deleted.
Lj's concerning adult roleplays. No underage people involved at all. Have been deleted.
I saw a post saying that Live Journal would of left people alone if it wasn't for this crazy group going around complaining.
I think there should we should be entitled to some freedom of speech around here. Deleting works of fiction is just wrong.
Most adult Roleplays are friends only and they do the best they can to avoid kids from joining them. While there are a bunch of younger kids on there there are also a bunch of adults. I've seen many people in their thirties even forties and fifties on this site.
I wasn't too bothered by them deleting these places at first, but when you delete communities for the discussion of the novel "Lolita" and peoples personal journals about how they were raped. That is just going too far.
The rape victims were most likely getting their story out there so other people know what happened to them and to help spread the word. To help people realize that it is okay to speak out about what happened to them.
Take into conscience that they're doing it, not only because they were pushed into doing it, but because the TOS itself prohibits this kind of explicit material in LiveJournal. They are doing it to avoid further accusation, and it is THEIR decision, not WfI's. o3o
But how can you explain them getting rid of communities discussing the book Lolita? And peoples journals talking about how they were raped by a family member.
I wouldn't be so angry about this whole thing if Lj would just make an announcement about what is going on.
Tell the users; the people who help pay for the site. I'm sure people will calm down once that happens.
Quite a few of these communities have been around for awhile. And all of a sudden they get suspended. Would they of really done something if WfI came around to complain? I highly doubt it.
It's true that we can't explain that or how support communities have been deleted. I agree that because of WfI's accusations, LiveJournal is going at this the wrong way (and they're honestly doing this to cover their arse from any more finger-pointing).
No, they wouldn't have, actually. You know, I don't agree with their (WfI's) method of doing things and I'm actually quite suspicious about them because they are not affiliated with big anti-CP websites such as PervertedJustice--not to mention that WfI doesn't have the required training.
If you get rid of your LJ you better damn well e-mail me everyday...no every minute about what is going on in your life.....I just can't break you! LOL! ^_____^ I'd miss you too much if you left me!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to do that tonight just in case anything happens. But I'd let everyone know before I leave.
I don't think after all these years I could be journalless. I wouldn't know what to do with my time.
Plus, I'd keep this account just so I can stay in touch with people and communities.
