1. So why did you condone and participate in the goings-on at Azkaban? Surely you realized that you were perpetrating horrors equal to or possibly exceeding those of your prisoners, did you not?
2. If you weren't in lust (or love?) with my father, would you still be his ally?
3. How do you feel about other purebloods? I realize that your background means that you were treated with something less than politeness before, but I'm curious about how you think you will fit into society.
1) On the contrary - we didn't kill innocent people for fun or because they had the misfortune to be born as Muggles or to Muggle parents. The persons incarcerated in Azkaban were guilty of crimes of mindless violence. If our...questioning of them, no matter the methods used, saved even one life, then I consider it justified.
2) Yes, I'd be his ally - I really didn't think that we would be together in that way once I was rescued from Azkaban, the spell broken. It's not the love physical feelings I have for Lucius that determine my alliance - it's his decision to turn away from Voldemort and what I've learned about his youth.
3) I have no particular dislike of purebloods, just of the way I've been treated by them because I'm less than pure. I don't expect to be welcomed with open-arms.
4) Not purely monogamous, at least physically. I quite enjoy having a mix of partners. Emotionally, however...yes, emotionally, I am monogamous.
5) Not so much a favourite book as a favourite series of stories - the Sherlock Holmes stories.
1) He left me, moved to an artist colony. It was over before then, though - he said that I didn't really love him, that there was someone else. He was right, although it's taken me twenty years to admit it.
2) Yes. Like a sheepdog. It's endearingly disgusting.
3) The Order was disbanded? Why didn't anyone tell me?
I didn't say that. I actually wanted him alive, as Knight wanted to interrogate him. Moody killed Rosier. I was involved in the chase, which was a particularly difficult one as Rosier was a very wily prey. He was even willing to sacrifice Wilkes to get away.
1) Who are you? 2) What do you want? 3) Do you honestly think you can live with and love a man who considers Muggles - such as your family - to be one step up from animals, and who happily kills them for sport? 4) Do you think you can change Lucius in any way? 5) You were once a protector, a police officer. Doesn't it bother you in any way that you are now responsible for the death of a man whose only crime was trying to prevent you from committing another crime? Or does his life mean nothing to you?
