I need to make a garden wall for the raised bed I'm putting in the front. I wanted to make it out of rocks, but Chad said we should do bricks because it will match the house. I think brick will look too stuffy..

So the thing my friend's mother wanted to talk to me about had nothing to do with me and everything to do with an irresponsible remark that was passed (irresponsibly) on to my young friend by an unthinking adult.

So 2 unthinking adults were responsible for hurting my friend's feelings.
They suck.

And that's life.
