This post convinces me that we are actually mostly the same person. IDEK, but I agree and feel everything the same. Of all of the Ten moments, I was SO NOT PREPARED FOR DONNA at the very end. Like gut-wrenching sobbing that I could not understand because SHE WAS NOT COMING BACK. IT WAS DONE OR SHE WOULD DIE OMG WHAT WHAT WHAT. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

YES. As soon as she started stuttering and breaking down in the TARDIS I was losing it. He was just standing there like it was the saddest day of his life. He was losing his BFF and there is nothing else he could do but strip her of everything that made her feel special. WHAT KIND OF EMOTIONAL FRAKKERY IS THAT? It felt like someone repeatedly kicked me in the stomach. I was a mess. I was kind of crazy moved by the fact he went back and borrowed the money for the lottery ticket from her Dad. It was just such a Ten thing to do.

I love you too and I'm so happy you encouraged me to watch. It's kind of nuts how fangirly I feel about it.

UGH I KNOW. and the whole time he's stepping towards her she's all "NO NO NO" and you know he's hating himself but what makes it a total sob-fest is when Granddad Wilf is all "Every night I'll come out here and search the stars and look for you...for her"

Granddad/Ten is pretty much the most beautiful/heartbreaking of bromances.

I really want to watch the whole series all over again now.

I completely agree with you about Father's Day... it's what sealed the deal so to speak.

AHHHH! Doctor Who is just such my happy place show... I once saw someone... on cracked.com I think, call it the triumph of romance and intelligence over violence and cynicism. Or something along those lines. And it's so true. It's like this... bubble of things that are joyous and wonderful about the universe and being alive... and guhhhhhh... yeah. HAPPY.
