X3-class solar flare from sunspot 930, with coronal mass ejection directed straight towards Earth! It’s already set off an R3 (“strong”) radio blackout and an S2 (“moderate”) solar radiation storm. It is very nice indeed, BUT, we have at least 120 miles of clouds each way out of town... For 2-3 days at least.
