I've got time to post again, so I restart this activity. I've got some pictures of northern lights taken a few days ago. As I moved, the foreground changed too. ;)

What exposure time did you use? I'm planning on going to Russia for a bit this winter and I'd like to try my hand at aurora photography

no necessity to go all the way to Russia... This one is in Alaska... I've seen quite a few images from Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, Canada, Norway...

If EXIF data is correct - this is 30 seconds at f/2 and ISO 400
