A very interesting fic. However, I got to ask, do you know that Artemis in the Young Justice reality is a citizen of Gotham? I ask because wrote that Batman doesn't want Artemis in Gotham, but considering that where she lives, I don't see how he can stop that.

Hmm. I may have to reword some things. What I was trying to get across was Batman doesn't want Artemis or Miss Martian patrolling in Gotham. I'm kinda using canon continuity to back me up that Batman and Green Arrow found out Artemis was trying to patrol on her own and they brought her into Young Justice to prevent just that.
Batman put her in the same school as Robin, (also the best school in Gotham) and put her in Young Justice to protect her and give her the best possible chance of both surviving to adulthood and not becoming a villain.

I really like this chapter. Dinah I think finally got through to her about the little identity crisis that is going on and she didn't seem to have realized it.

glad to see an update, was really hoping for one the story is really one of the best takes on this kind of prompt. I like the fact that it didn't dissolve straight down into smut as soon as they found out that she was a girl.

Thank you!! I'm sorry it took ages to update. I'm looking forward to some of the future scenes though so I should be posting a bit more frequently again.
I'm glad you like my take on the prompt. While smut has its place, I've never been able to write it without justification. Its a rather special quark I have. There must be a /reason/ for any kind of relationship to happen.
I did a lot of gender identity research too. After that, I realized Robin wasn't just gonna *POOF* oh hey, I'm a girl now, kay? and start banging Roy/Wally/Superboy/Rolly/OMC. Following canon as closely a possible, Richard and Robin both exist and are both boys. The girl's /gonna/ be messed up. And that girl's voice is what appealed to me. It's what I could really hear and therefore write.

YAY! And so it continues. SO glad to see an update to this verse. :)
Aw, poor Robin..erh..Rachel. No wonder she's having some identity issues. As if being a teenager wasn't hard enough to already.

Cannot help but wonder, though. Since Superboy discovered Robin's female-ness, Superman MUST have known?!

Looking forward to more.

That ...is actually something I forgot to take into account. Huh. Surprise plot twist for us all! That will be taken into account when Superman joins that party. Thank you for pointing that out!!!

Yes, you updated! Thank you so much! This is a really interesting fic, with the gender identity and just plain identity issues everywhere. Though oddly enough, I suspect that Superboy will actually be the one to roll best with the whole gender thing once he gets totally over the betrayal. Kind of "Okay, so Robin's female. I was mad at her lying to us, I'm over it now and treating her pretty much exactly the same as before. You're the wierd ones for treating her differently!" For him, it doesn't seem to be so much a freak out over her being a girl, as a freak out that she way lying, and in such a way that he wouldn't have all the info to work with her effectively. For example, if she is on her period and has nasty cramps, act as if she recetly suffered a strong blow to the abdomen and treat her accordingly, minus fear of ruptured organs or internal, non-menstral, bleeding. It's kind of interestig seeing someone who hasn't grown up in any culture react to the whole gender identity thing!

Hi,
Kinda a newcomer here. I just want to say that I adore this fic and hope you haven't forgotten about it. Even if you aren't planning on continuing writing this what you gave writtilen is really good an very interesting. I like how you seem to include all the small stuff without making it too detailed.

Kudos to you
