Complete and Utter confusion
I remember when I was a little girl, most likely seven, my sister and I would play with our poorly dressed Barbies and throw mock weddings. The interesting thing, to both of us, was more the wedding night rather than the ceremony. I really don't know if I ought to be offerring advice because I'm no expert, but my other friend has found herself in a similar position: she has left her boyfriend and almost needs to be in a relationship. And I don't know, but I guess I'd just say that it's better to be alone for a while. But once again, I don't feel the same needs you seem to be describing. I guess I want to say: you need to figure out why you need a guy to feel happy and deal with those feelings. Because you'll be a lot happier in a relationship where both parties are healthily independent, so to speak. But that's a lot easier said than done. I'm sorry if this doesn't help. I'm kind of socially-ignorant.
