HELP...

I REALLY want to put pictures on this thing...I have a scanner and everything but I'm a dumbass about it. I don't even know how to transfer the format of the files from bmp. to something compatible and then I don't know how to get them to show up. If someone would help I'd be oh-so-grateful and I might even make you cookies.

to change the format: open the pictures in like paint or something, then goto *Save As* and change the file type to jpg or gif

to put pictures on LJ: the only way that i know for is to take them from a website, I dont think you can do it just by uploading them.
