Yesterday was my 15th birfday - yay :D

In celebration, I got a Freebirds burrito, a nice soda, and I should be on Warcraft right now to announce my victory over the lowbies of the world.

Instead, I resign myself to a nice chocolate milk and the comfort of a fat dog.

The last few days have been a blast. We dissected sheep brains yesterday and full dogfish sharks today. Our shark was so boring. It was shrimpy and didn't even have babies. Two of the other ones had twins-triplets and whole fish in their stomach. We had chum - ick ( Read more... )

We watched Batman yesterday and it was awesome. No spoilers, I promise. I'm glad that it combines the animated series a little bit with the comic and Michael Caine makes a great Alfred as much as Christian Bale makes a great Batman. We ranked 3rd in the Trivia competition today. It was kind of sad because no one could answer the questions that I knew. Science Camp is great but waking up in the early morning isn't. So far, we've done gel electrophoresis, Southern Blots, and random chromatography. We've also done random little chemistry things like dipping this nickel/titanium wire in cold water, bending it into weird shapes, and watching it straighten in hot water. Sunday was my parents' 24th anniversary so we went down to Kirby to get her some jewelry. I picked out a necklace, some earrings, and a pair of bangles and we took them home.
