I think for the most part I remember what happened 9/11 (although I learned several things I didn't previously know from your entry), but I had forgotten the feeling I felt that day and for a while after. I remember the sad, empty feeling that the tragedy of that day left me with. Just the general shock and sudden fear for safety that we were all going through affected me.
It's hard to believe that it was five years ago when I went to my child/adol development class to find out that 2 planes at the the World Train Center and then spend much of the day in Union at the beloved Phi Tau table watching tv in awe... and yet it does seem like a long time ago too.
