playing with the new phone

I definitely like the versatility of this snazy new smart phone, the G1 / android / google phone. But I'm having issues getting used to the keyboard. Oddly part of my issue is not just that I would like a more tactile keyboard, but that the keys are so far apart. iphone4life!

i think most smart phones have a bit of a learning curve. :) it took me about a week to not be frustrated with the keyboard on my iphone but now i can type like the wiiiind.

Thanks for the update! Is there any way to change the font or type size in Android? My first Windows Mobile phone (iPAQ) had a really lame default theme, but once I changed the theme color and found a font that I liked, the display was MUCH better.

Geriatric? Puh-leeze.
On my new phone, the numbers/qwerty keyboard are TOO CLOSE! My thumbs are too thick to type well with the touchscreen, and the optional and removable qwerty module is annoying to put on and remove. Good phone other than that. Oh yeah, it is an LG Versa, from Verizon.

Heyyyyy... you have a Versa huh? How do you like it? I have a Voyager and was thinking about moving to the versa when my upgrade time came around. I was specifically wondering about the removable keyboard, and the cheesy fake-leather platic case.
