THIS IS THE MOST ADORABLE THING.
I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG I SPENT JUST GAPING AT IT AND MAKING WEIRD FACES BECAUSE IT IS THAT ADORABLE.
(Screams because PARENTAL!ICELAND)
IMAGINE HIM SINGING HIM TO SLEEP THOUGH. WITH SOME OLD LULLABYE OR JUST AAGHGHHHHH.
(You know, a petition for Iceland Should Sing All His Lines in His Next Appearence (drama cd, game, etc.) Might just work.)
One day i'm going to buy an iopapeysa thing because you make them look so stylish.
But I'll wait till I can spell it first :P and pronounce it because if I went to a store and was like "how much is this ayeohpapaya?" I would be literally laughed out.

tbh the only reason the sheep are special is because of isolation. iceland's only native non-fish/bird animal is the fox. the sheep (as well as the horses) were brought a thousandish years ago and never left, nor were any others ever introduced, so they evolved and adapted differently. like the horses in scandinavia now are bigger and completely different because they've been bred over with others and changed, while the iceys (that's actually what they're called) have stayed the same size as they were in the viking age, and have adapted over time to be hardy enough to travel over the glaciers and mountains (they remain the only animal there able to survive alone in the highlands, not even humans can). and so the same with the sheep, they've not been crossbred for a millennium, so they evolved separately and quickly to survive in iceland. the weather in iceland is very harsh, even in the mildest part of the country, houses have to be reinforced with steel sidings, or the ordinary wind will shred them (also why turf houses were so ( ... )
