it looks like a teal deer, but mostly it's my future

And now for my monthly update! Oh, I kid. Actually, it occurred to me today that I could just fork out $7 for two months-worth of a paid account, and actually want to return to lj once in a while. The problem, I found, with not having a paid account was that for some reason those snap popups would not close for me, and they would cover up my ( Read more... )

Hey, errrrrr, not to make it about me or anything, but are you thinking of a morning ceremony/lunch type of deal? Or an evening reception? I was supposed to be out of town that day and I'm working on reorganizing my plans so I can be sure to be at the wedding. =) So, I was just wondering. I'll be there regardless, of course.

I wish I could be more specific than this, but unfortunately we are running into obstacles in finding an appropriate reception venue. We're aiming for a late afternoon/evening reception, because Michael would like to have a dance, etc. The wedding itself, however, will take place sometime between 10 and noon (most likely at 11), so that will be fairly early.

I'm sorry if it doesn't work out. With his Army schedule and the local availability, we didn't have a lot to work with. :-(

No big deal. Obviously I'll be there no matter what time it is. I'm just trying to plan things...because that's what I do. ;)

Yeah, unfortunately you're preaching to the choir here. I've been fighting for the 'just say no' policy for a week now, and Michael is not biting. I'm hoping to try again when we're face to face tomorrow, but we'll see how it goes.

*sigh*

Thanks for the thought, though!

Ha ha, I almost want to bring that quote up to him. But, yeah, I'm holding out hope that once he's here it will be easier for him to cancel unnecessary plans. Else the Taurus might have to get even feistier, and I've already been pretty feisty about this issue. :-)

Holy cow, how did I miss this comment? I'm sorry!

You know, I have to say that the scuba idea is very intriguing. I'm up for trying new things, and when else am I going to get that opportunity? I'll have to think about it. That's... intriguing.

He'll actually be at Fort Gordon in Georgia. I don't know where that is; I only know it's in the south, and that may as well be another country to me.
