Character Creation Mania!

Not a whole lot to report. Made about a bajillion characters for the game with Jared, Wayne, and Co. Didnt even have enough time to make my own. Its ok though, barely had time to introduce the number of characters we had to introduce. It was a typical first session where 5 minutes of IC stuff gets done during 3 hours of roleplaying. Horribly

I definitely know what you mean about a needing a good group. The group that I gamed with in college still gets together but the instances are getting more seldom, due to the host and storyteller for the games lives about 3 hours away. We had great chemistry and held together through a lot of interpersonal problems. I wish I got to see them more.
I also joined a group as the ST for a game set in the world of darkness where the players are all different sorts of things (1 Kuei-jin, 1 Mage, 2 Werewolves, and character who, unknowingly, is a Progenator project to advance human evolution to deal with the reality deviants). It is a wild game , but it got killed from lack of interest really suddenly. One player was lost to City of Heroes, and the others just seemed to loose interest. I keep in touch with a couple of them via email, but have yet to be able to arrange another game.
So I do feel your pain.
