This morning, after I had washed my hands, I dried them on a random towel hanging in my bathroom. A few minutes later, I reached up to brush something off my face and *sniff sniff* What's this? Ew! Stinky towel smell

Great advice! (I've thrown dishtowels away because of that stench.)

One word of caution-- I think whether hydrogen peroxide bleaches your towels will depend on the towels. (The dye, fibres, etc.) I have a nice off-white spot on my bright red towel because of an accident with some hydrogen peroxide recently.

Usually it will only bleach if it's allowed to sit without drying, like if you soak something in peroxide in a covered container for a while. That's the only time I've ever had something bleach from it! It might also depend on the strength of the peroxide. I just use the 3% from the grocery store.

It's probably a good idea to test an inconspicuous spot if you're concerned, though. Thanks for pointing that out!
