It is so him. I have always wondered what he'd be like when he's along - like if i could tape him with no one watching.

I am sure you were glad to get back safely. I remember getting a few rides to or from college that were scary. One was this crazy girl who sounds like your driver, with the wild gestures, etc. The other was this guy who followed too close to very large semi-trailets. It turned out that soon after he had dropped me off he rear ended one of them when they stopped suddenly. I was glad I was out of the car by then.
