I think a cat is trying to adopt me

Several times in the past week when i walk outside my door an (apparently stray) cat is sitting outside, mewing at me. And it likes sitting in the chair that i sit on when i go outside with the laptop. Today it even tried to rub up against my leg. I don't see any tags, but it's fully grown. I bet that your hunch about the former tenant feeding the cat is correct. You wouldn't have to take the cat in. It is probably used to being outdoors. But I bet it will hang around. *lol
