Boring work update (or, roadmap to thesis completion!)

So, had a meeting with advisor today. I think I impressed him the other night by emailing him with a list of thoughts regarding how and when to get the heck outta here :p. Anyways, looks like if I hold up my end of the bargain (aka, I don't get lazy) I can finish up labwork in June or so and then defend my thesis in August or September

It's certainly motivating to hear that it's realistic to be out in that time :D.

And, yeah, just don't mention it to prospective employers. Or just phrase it as "he likes to have a good time and socialize". Chemists tend to be lushes anyways...
