I do have a fair few toys around but I might invest in some pingpong balls. She loves chasing foil balls so ping pong balls would be like Cat Alton Towers!
When we had cats (which were strictly outdoor cats that were there to reduce the rodent population around the farm), they would always leave us dead things on the doorstep: mice, shrews, half a rat, bits of rabbit, the occasional stoat. We always assumed it was some for of gift giving - if they didn't appease us with the ritual offerings of their kills, we'd stop feeding them. I'm not sure if cats really do have a system of reciprocity, but out of a whole farm, why leave the dead things on the doorstep of the people that feed you?

I've kept her awake all day so tonight should be better.
We shall see.

I'm sure she'll be fine with staying in the house all night, and she can go out exploring in the day time.

I'm going to keep her in at night and then hopefully she won't get the chance to hunt during the day.
