He slid a tiny box across the blanket towards her.

"I love the tiny blue boxes!" Rory squealed, bouncing a little as she carefully picked it up and opened it. "Oh, honey. They match my ring!"

He probably did that on purpose, Rory. Of all things.

"And they aren't dangley, so Juliet can't try to yank them out of your ears," he said proudly.
