Yeah, funny title...took me all of half-a-second to come up with. However, it's vaguely true. I really need an icon for my lj, everyone elses is so nice...Since this blog is mainly about my writing I think I'd better have something related to that. Any suggestions

Re: icons, I don't know where others get theirs. Some are so clever and change pictures and what not. Mine are boring but I go to Google Images and do a search for what I think I want. But again, there are 1000's of others who have much more interesting icons.

As for 'show don't tell' if you're writing a history of something, it's probably okay to tell it, but I like to do flashback-type stuff to show what happened. But that isn't always appropriate. I would just write it and see how it turns out. :)

I am so technologically backward. I have no double back flip, mach 2, hyperspace icons to offer. Manaan looks pretty cool though.

Oh, someone once told me to incorporate history into a dialog. Two characters could be discussing the planet's history.
