My first try at a 5-jointed animal. That's all 4 limbs plus the head. She turned out pretty cute I think, but lesson learned -- make the neck longer than you think it needs to be!
These are cute! I'm really impressed by your plushie-making. It's something I've wanted to do but haven't tried yet. The talbuk was awesome. Do you hand-sew these or do you have a sewing machine?
Thanks! I have been thinking about trying needle-felting but I don't know if the thought process is the same, if that makes sense. For plush I have a fairly good idea of what shape the pieces need to be in order to get a certain shape.
They are all hand-sewn because they're so small. On larger ones you could use a machine, but it's very rough on the machine if you are using longer pile. I find it easier to just hand-sew while I watch TV :)
If you want to try making some, the site I get 99% of my supplies from has some good patterns, as well as things like eyes and noses which can be hard to find locally:
