I'm fed up with Torchwood and Doctor Who beig so UK centric. I'm happy it's going global, if they could just stop killing off their main characters I'd be happy. But then again I thought Lost was edgy for the same thing.

RTDs influence in it will be interesting and will the new Doctor have anything to do with it? These are my questions but my responce is positive overall.

I hope going global makes it more interesting. While I did enjoy Torchwood it was never "must see" for me. Monster of the week gets boring, Children of Earth was interesting. I am curious to see where it goes.

If my information is correct, RTD is not really involved with the new Doctor Who so I doubt he'll make an appearance. And I think that's a good thing.

I'm certainly planning to give it a go.
