Нашла у себя отрывочек. Датировка ниже, хотела, видать, раскрыть тему как черт знает что. Сначала не поверила, что отрывочек-то мой, но против графоманства - никуда, шершавости налицо.
Silence as lack of speech is different from silence as an absence of sound and belongs to human beings only. However, we may find metaphors of objects silent, like stones or lakes, phones and animals, but they're just simple figures of speech, because only people, granted with gift of conversation, may not use it and remain silent. We spent most of our time in such state, at least when we are sleeping or listening to the others.
Silence is very important. It is nothing, nihil; it may be a weapon in cases of arguments or tortures; absence of speech written is also silence.
