Question

What do you do when you have a fic (half written btw) that you KNOW no one will actually read??  I mean, this is a fic that doesn't even have a standard pairing in a fandom that doesn't even exsist and yet everytime I open my laptop intent on writing one of the TWO Harry Potter plot bunnies I have nagging at me, I find myself tinkering with this ( Read more... )

Sounds to me like you're dying to tell the story, so...tell it! Why stifle your voice? Someone somewhere will read it, and even if not, you'll have created something you're pleased with.

*sigh* you're so right. It's been a long time since I've wanted to write something...and I've never really written anything like it (with a completely original character) so I should do it!

I vote in favour of writing it, whether there's an audience or not *nods*

There's one fic I wrote knowing in advance that only 2 people would read / comment on it, and I have no regrets :)

Thank you! I've been kind of dragging my feet on it because of the "no reader" situation. But you're right - I should just do what I want!!! :)
