My best friend just called me. I've been texting her for two weeks and she's ignored me. I find it out its cause she's been 'thinking' and finally decided we should part ways. She reckons the last few times we've hung out she felt uncomfortable - I sensed nothing. She gets told I've been bitching about her for the last 1.5 years - I only bitched ( Read more... )

Aw *hugs* I know, losing people you care about deeply because things feel like they've changed so much is really sad... feel better soon!

It's probably not healthy, I'm not sure, but I comfort myself by thinking she's probably changed for the worse, and I wouldn't wanna be friends with a person like that anyway. Thank you for the support :)

Honey~ -snuggles you- I "broke up" with my best friend just last week. lol. and right now its okay to feel bitter towards them, they're probably feeling it too. but dw, life goes on and most likely she left so when new friends come along there will be space in that beautiful heart of yours. <333

Thanks so much :) It always comforting to know someones trying to deal with the same thing, so you can kind of relate. Did you feel the same way with this friend of yours?

Oh yeah. But the thing is... with me I was trying hard to get her attention and to keep her by my side. But she obviously was more interested in keeping a friendship with my ex than with me. -sigh-

Oh wow, how sad :( Some people are like that, they take good people for granted.. I tried to keep my best friend close to me, but she's too stuck on her boyfriend... now she has noone but him, so in a way I think she'll be more miserable than I was.

Aw hun, I wish I could hug you. XD

I have lost a best friend, she was my friend friend since we were little, but people change; situations change. It's so cliche, but the best thing you can do is move on, and look towards the future, set goals for yourself, you know? It's not easy, but in the long run it's the best.

Thank you :) Yeah I see it now, I'm moving on and focusing on building relationships with my other friends :) It's all good now... it surprising how quickly I got over this actually. It'll hurt for awhile, but it's rather easy to put my mind on something else.
