I'm not taking the bait, because I'm fairly sure you don't actually have sound political and/or policy-based reasons for voting Abbott.

("He's controversial" is not a sound poltical and/or policy based reason, by the way. Neither is his dumbo ears.)

sorry bec, but julia has dumbo ears too. have you seen the size of her ear lobes? HUGE! she's like the female Barry Jones. that said, i will not let superficial judgements ruin my credibility as a voting Australian citizen, and will vote for anyone other than abbott. soz andi.

Yay I love Julia! The thing I love best about her is that she's not Tony Abbott, and henceforth, it doesn't matter if she screws up enormously and manages to get the country blown up, I'm still gonna vote for her over Abbott come election time.

Also I just wanna say I really appreciate how intelligent, articulate and aware your posts are. Compared with mine anyway, which are just all about "I HOOKED UP WITH A GUY OMG HE WAS GORGEOUS." I feel slightly juvenile in comparison but WHATEVER. You go and be brilliant. See if I care.

Agreed. Let's face it, the Labor Party could elect a three-day-old piece of Vegemite toast for leader, and I'd still vote for it over Abbott. Having the brilliant and all-round adorable Gillard as an option is just a bonus, really.
