Kuan Yin Tea House- Brisbane

I'm flying to Brissy in Sept for a concert and on my to do list is visit Kuan Yin Tea House.
Has anyone here been before? What dishes do you recommend?

Oh my god, Kuan Yin is awesome! I like the combo dish (pork, fish and chicken I think) coz it gives you a chance to try out a variety of their fake meats. The sweet and sour pork is also good, but my all time fave is the mock oysters. Seriously heavenly. :D

Are you thinking of visiting any other veg places while in Brisbane?

I'm only there for 2 days but are they any other places you think I should check out?

I really like the Forest in West End: http://www.theforest.com.au/. They have vegan cakes and nice hot food (their burgers and fake meat pies are delish). There is also The Cupcake Parlour in West End which has vegan cupcakes: http://thecupcakeparlour.com.au/. They can sometimes sell out though, at least that happened one time when I went later in the afternoon.

Check out Loving Hut! It's in Upper My Gravatt and is the only 100% vegan place in Brisbane! Food is AMAZING too~ ♥
