Hehe good fun to listen too, nice paper science nerderie and glad to hear you dont aspire to write crap books :D
Seriously I thought you did a good job as host giving your "interviewee" just the right amount of slack to strut his stuff.
I cant say the book appealed seems to fall into the trap of too much description and not enough plot, seems to be plot is what drives people to read "pulp" fiction. A man/fish breeding programme is good for a chuckle though.
Cool, thanks. Not necessarily to everyone's taste. For my part, I enjoy more of the Solaris Books than I do the Abaddon Books, but there are good and rotten books in both imprints.
...uh, I mean, of course, that all our books are excellent. :)
Not sure who your intended audience is or how often you intend to do these podcasts but you cover an awful lot of books to hope fot your listenership to remember.
Sounds like you publish an interesting electic collection of stuff though.
Possibly. Our account manager was keen for us to mention books, so gave me a list of a handful of titles to cover, and the list grew as we discussed it. Next time I might suggest we limit the list more.
