Why do I always cry at weddings?

I went to a friend's wedding over the weekend and it was lovely, a beautiful location, a beautiful service, but man, the moment I saw the bride step out of the car the waterworks started, and didn't let up until the service had ended and we physically left the location. See, ordinarily I'm not a big girls blouse, that's the confusing part. But take me to a wedding and it's blubber central.

I'll try not to blubber around you, seeing as you're so sympathetic to it.

Heh. I must admit I usually get a bit misty eyed at most weddings. Did you get the boys' school stuff sorted out? Or are the truancy police going to arrest you when you get home?

I think it's all the underlying emotion that gets me going at weddings, the idea that two people love each other enough to commit to each other for a life time. *wipes tear*

I had to withdraw the kids from school to avoid the truancy problem. I'll re-enrol them today. Bloody ridiculous. But that's overzealous regulating for you.
