I agree with much of your comment - it does seem drama for the sake of it, yes, with plot holes that are hard to swallow. Mary jumping in front of the bullet? If that was possible, Sherlock could have jumped away when he was shot in the first place.
Re Sherlock shooting Magnussen - you mean, how Mycroft simply faked the video of what happened so Sherlock wouldn't go down for it? Which doesn't make sense either! Why didn't they bloody well do that BEFORE they sent Sherlock on his suicide mission?
Anyway, I hope the next two episodes will have John and Sherlock back together. Maybe it will be angsty getting-them-back, I don't know. Will see.
I'm good - though yes, your country is in a bit of a mess! Australia isn't perfect, but at least we don't have THAT for a leader.
My first children's book comes out in March and the second in the series may be in July! Yay! Can't wait. Here's to a great 2017!
