Hello sweet peoples! Thank you for my birthday wishes! I had a lovely laid-back day with my family, brunch and the beach. Aurora is ecstatic with all her cousins here. Some of them are nearly as tall as me now

Thanks for the news update! Glad you're away from the terrible fires, it's heart-breaking seeing the devastation and hearing about the loss of life there. Our thoughts are with everyone in Australia.

We had a nice quiet Christmas with a visit from our son and his family the Sunday after. Glad you had a good one :-) xxx

Thanks Jane! I can't get my head around the loss of one billion animals in the fires. One. Billion. And some people deliberately light fires.

Christmas was good; Santa brought Rory a new bike. She was chuffed! Xx

It is terrible what's happened and is till happening with those disastrous fires. Why someone would light one deliberately is beyond my understanding and all those people who have lost their lives and their homes plus the horrific loss of wildlife, it's absolutely tragic.

Thank you Layne! Sorry, LJ didn't send me a notification of your post. Aurora is six now (!!!!) Can ride a bike without training wheels, goes to gymnastics and swimming lessons. My baby is growing up...
