My mommy's going to get me a Kahlua Mudlslide for my 18th bday cause she keeps forgetting they changed the drinking age. So even though you're 3 years older than me, we can both be drinking on my bday. Crunk.

btw, I think that it would be ok to let him back in, but don't get upset if it still feels like you are putting in more effort. The relationship, in any form, is going to be weird for a few reasons that I think you can come up with. Give it time, too. Things don't just happen, and anything good is worth waiting for. Example, our friendship.
