Who has a locator they actually liked? I am moving back to the area after a few years away and my job didn't tell me until last minute so I'm working from 3000 miles away with a week of notice. Difficult!

Chad Richardson from A Plus Apartments (A Plus Apartment Locating) helped me find a place last December. I ended up getting a job in Houston so I didn't move into the apartment, but he followed up with emails after showing me the apartment (not to mention driving from Mopac/183 all the way down to Manchaca/Slaughter to show it). I think my price range was somewhere around there too, and there were several available complexes.

I second A Plus apartment locators, they helped us find the perfect apartment when we lived there, and it was fairly painless!

It turns out the locator I have been working with is from A+ and she only has two suggestions for me in all of Austin. Huh.

Yikes. Is that it? Surely there must be more than two places. $800/mo isn't an unreasonable amount for a 1 bedroom and you're looking pretty much anywhere in Austin.

Yeah. That's why I'm looking elsewhere. She hasn't been as helpful as I wanted.

also add in that there are lots of property companies who dont even work with locators.

As for as complexes: The tramor properties have always been good to me and my friends. they dont work with locators. Have locations all over town.
