I shall remember this list.

For I am getting an iPhone 3G at the end of February.

Also I have found out it is pssible to upload hacked games and apps directly to the iPhone via ssh.

I sure it voids the warranty, but I'm curious if you know much about it.

I don't know anything about pwning the iPhone. I keep it legit, I have no need to hack it.

My most-used 3rd party apps (that you didn't already mention):

Wikipanion - wikipedia optimized for iPhone, very handy

ToDo - GTD app, simple and to the point

Mint.com - mobile app for the website, get control of your finances

Comic Touch - add humorous speech bubbles to photos

Dicenomicon - highly configurable virtual dice

2 Across - crosswords app, you can download puzzles from a number of newspapers

Quordy - great Scramble-like app written by a friend

Fieldrunners - very slick tower defense game

CrystalDefense - Final Fantasy based tower defense. Unfortunate controls and layout, but still a very fun and addictive game

FamViewer - bare-bones but useful GEDCOM file viewer for genealogy. overpriced and underfeatured, but I don't think there's anything better yet.

I made my own list, but didn't list everything on my phone, because it would have been twice as big. And I don't use most of them.

I have a list too!

Pros:
Blackberry is better than the iPhone

Cons:
iPhone...is....more...expensive? no, that's not a con...

Um... Okay.

The products are different and have different ways of doing things. I don't see that one is better than the other, but one may be better than the other in certain ways.

If I were to buy a BlackBerry, I'd want one with the jog/click dial on the side. The rolly ball is stupid for what I think the BBs are good at doing.

Tina has a Blackberry. The ball isn't really great for navigating all the menus. I feel like it's clumsy and not that sensitive.
