Has everyone heard of Matisyahu?  If you haven't, I'll give you the short version:  he's an Orthodox Jewish Reggae musician.  How Brooklyn is that?  (He's actually from Pennsylvania, his bio says).  The website also says he's translating  the teachings of Chabad Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson, spreading the message of love and peace through music ( Read more... )

You get things late in NY or what? Lol. You should talk to Doctoreon about reggae. He is big into it. All I know is Bob Marley, Toots and the Maytals and Buju Banton.
