hahaha! the entertainment department is a bitch to find. Do you know what venue you're working in yet?

Let me know if there's any kind of finding-stuff type things I can help you out with.

Oh, and fox's market on cherry drive is a really nice place to get local & amish food along with your regular groceries. But the cows will moo at you when you walk past the dairy aisle, so don't let it startle you.

Gosh, I'm gonna get all nostalgic :)

Oh, right, uniforms. That grew out of people not being able to abide by the simple request to blend in when they walk from the gate to their venue. So now they issue you a park polo shirt to wear when you're in the public eye. But once you're in you're venue you can wear whatever you like, and if you come to the park to play off the clock, you just wear your normal clothes ( ... )

thanks, jenny! every bit of advice helps. really. everything is so new to me here. everyone seems to know at least 1 person, and i know not a soul. it's rough, and dance rehearsals are kicking my ASS, but other than that, it'll be fine :)

AND not only do we wear the polo shirts....BUT we wear the EXTREMELY high-waisted, khaki, knee-length, pleated shorts. oh yes, it's embarrassing.

good luck with finals! and thanks again!
