Huz-fucking-zah for Obama.  Feels damn good to be on the winning side for once.  Or again, without the theft this time.  I have faith that he'll at the least help to modernize the government and stick, for at least the first year, to his tax plan.  That's change, no doubt.  That this country can finally get it together enough to do something like

Well said, Keith. The No on 8 commercials left me feeling disappointed and I couldn't articulate why, but you just did, so thank you. :)

Today was definitely a mix of emotions for me. I'm ecstatic that Obama won (it still feels dream-like) but I am so disappointed in my fellow Californians for showing how stupid and homophobic many of them still are. I won't lie, I've definitely felt a lot of anger, in particular an urge to see the southern part of the state obliterated, but I know that fights like this are not won with violence, but with patience and heart...
