I haven't said much about the anti-Asian attacks in Atlanta. I have been trying to better understand my own privilege, listen to Asian and Asian American voices, and I even wrote about it in a poem. However, I'm not sure that poem was the right direction to take, because it spoke to experiences which are not mine. I still have a lot to learn

I'm glad that as a society we're talking about more angles of racism against Asian people. There's a lot of blatant racism and then also a lot of fetishization of Asian people which seems to rarely get called out and often is viewed as positive somehow.

I think it's good that people of all races are paying attention more now. I'm white so I'm not sure how much to participate myself but I'm going to keep on paying attention and learning. Thank you for linking the videos. They look interesting.
