This is good. I was pulled in and wanted to keep reading.

Don't know if you've found it yet, but a really, really great critique blog is Miss Snark's First Victim.

Authoress holds different critiquing events each month: first line, the first 50 words, dialogue, action scene, etc., but her big one is the Secret Agent Contests.

Authoress and her followers are all aspiring writers, and they are all kind, polite, smart, and honest.

I entered a first line contest last year. It was intimidating, humbling, and empowering. And that was just for my first line! :)

And this page is as good as what I've seen at MSFV.
