Oh what a stunning dress!! You look so gorgeous and that back is amazing.
What the heck is up with wedding dress sizing? Why are they so out of wack? We were warned, as we are going dress shopping soon for my daughter. It's crazy. It should be the opposite.
Ah weddings. Craziness. Glad the fiance is such a helper. That makes it all better, doesn't it?

I know, right? It SHOULD be the opposite, or they should be warned that they're so small sized. The first time I tried a dress on, I grabbed a size 4 (just in case, I'm usually a 2 but sometimes the hips demand a 4) and I couldn't get it on, even close. I wound up at an 8 which was too big, and I seriously wanted to cry. I was a 9-11 in highschool, and I worked my way down through the years. I wasn't nearly as bad about body image as some girls I knew: god knows how they'll feel when they go for a dress. >_<

I've said it before but I'll say it again: that dress is stunning!!!

About the sizing: could it be that they're UK sizes instead of US? I know those are a few numbers up from US (US size 0 is supposed to be UK size 4 I think, if I remember that brouhaha right). I know that still means it's a size up, but it could be paert of the reason.

That might well be: I know it's a "thing" over here to have jeans sized in UK sizes, as that's where the designer for those particular jeans came from; perhaps it's the same with the dresses? Possibly even with the American designers, just to keep up with the UK. I'll happily take that as a possibility; either that or they sized it for the models.

Awww, thank you so much sweetpea! No, not September already: I've got too much to do! Invitations and photos and bridesmaids oh my! >_< So much to do, so little time to do it... :P

Thank you thank you! It was a good price for a top quality designer dress (they were having a trunk show at the time, so all of the dresses from that line were a special sale for coming in to see the trunk show sort of thing) and I fell in love. :)
