So I was telling Myr the other day...I got another package from the boys in the back room. Now they insisted that it was only a little Sara/Greg scenelet and that it would be fluffy and porny ( Read more... )

So, I was utterly in awe of how completely awesome the first story was, and then you went and topped it. I'm still convinced it's one of the very best ever. Just everything was great! Thank you again!

The Greg-ness of Greg was superb, you capture the character perfectly and there was _just_ enough angst to highlight the happiness, rather than swamp it. The happiness seemed true, rather than schmoopy, too: describing those rare moments when acceptance beats out second-guessing. Best CSI fic ever...which clearly shows I need to be reading more. Other good non-slash exists, right? Thanks for being my gateway to this fandom.

Crappity LJ ate my first reply. Wicked Bad Naughty LJ...Miss Edith says no cookies for you!

What I *meant* to say was how much I enjoy your feedback; it's detailed, constructive and so gratifying. So thank you.

And as for other fics...I'm sure they do exist. I know Mossley and Burked are two big names in the fandom, I haven't read them. I rarely read (horrible I know...) but this is my way to keep the ideas/images of other writers free from the Tar Baby that is my brain. When I do read, I read slash and Grissom/Sara like crack.

Thanks for the names. I found their archives and will check them out. I'm not sure I've ever watched a show so long and so religiously without falling headfirst into the fandom. So I guess it's about time. ;-)

And it just seems polite to say something more than "nifty" when complimenting a fic. I mean, if you liked it, you liked _something_ about it, right? In any case, just keep doing what you're doing. :-)

Aaahhhhh!! You are an awesome, awesome person! This was such a great story. Your depiction of the characters was dead on. THis has to be one of the best Greg/Sara stories I've read. You're so talented! The Star Trek theme at the end was hilarious, "red alert Mr. Sulu"...I loved that and Pirate Greg!Porn, awesome. Any chance of more of that?! Huh? ;)

Well *blush* thank you...I try to use my powers for Good and of course for Awesome.

I am very glad you enjoyed it and gratified to know my characterizations are good, that is always something I strive for.

Pirate!Greg is pretty damn cute isn't he? I never know if the boys in the back room are done with him or Sara yet...he may show up. I just don't know...although I did kind of get a memo from them, this morning...

normally i am all about the GSR (and that's g for grissom) but cause greg is my second favorite male csi, i just had to read this. i was quite pleasantly surprised. i definitely loved the pirate-greg-porn, that was highly amusing. i think you should do more. i think i'm going to read the first story you had now... probably review that one too...

Hey... I hear ya. I *love* GSR, but so far the plot bunnies have stayed far far far away. I think all the angst scares them, GSR is so *fraught*. But I love it.

Thank you. I'm sure I'll do more, the boys in the back room are quite charged up by CSI lately. Unlike Alias...
