CSI Fic: Communion

Jun 14, 2005 22:52

While I bash away at the Crossover Fic from Hell, the boys in the back room took pity on me and because the boys are kind of jerks, the idea they sent me was; what would Grissom's reaction be if he were to find out about the Greg/Sara dynamic I've created in my previous two fics set in the same verse The Shape Of Happiness and This Thing We Have? I'm a big Nick/Sara and not as big Sara/Greg fan and I love it! Good job!

Thank you. I've read some Snicker fic too but not as much as I should, because fun!

Thank you! :)

I'm happy you're back and that life seems to be settling down for you. I missed you.

I've missed being here! :)

Life is getting less hectic, thankfully!

...forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us...

... Fuck yeah!

Powerful, funny, very nearly in character. This story worked well for me, more for its audacious grand arc than in its detail. I thought the Sara/Greg banter and dialogue was a little over the top. I think he might be that explicit, but not her, at work, and not he unless he was being intetionally provacative or showing off for someone else.

Unless he knew Grissom was there and pushed because of it, an evil scenario I explored for a while as I considered your text. Still and all, a very nice addition to your body of jaw-dropping work.

Shalom

As to whether Greg is that cruel? No, but he might easily be that thoughtless, that "push till it breaks then check out the pieces" curiosity he has can cause issues.

If we all had control of our feelings and actions, we wouldn't spend so much time trying to make amends.

BTW, I have gone back to reviewing at GF. MY reviews, MY way. This should be fun, neh?

Mmm I dunno, I think he's matured a bit.

Oh what do I know I'm sick and stressed and just told my class to shut up! *tears out hair*

So I get the pushed till you break thing...I really do. I need to go home and cry but I can't because I have to cook an authentic medieval dinner for thirty people tonight so I'll just sign up for the migraine now.

*burrows into you and weeps*

I hate this job today.

Do you review fic before it's posted or only after? Because you are a great beta.

Oh, that was soooo good!!! Thanks for giving me "thanks" however I never got a chance to review it, but it looks like you didn't need it. You are a wonderful writer.

Question, is this in the same universe as your previous Sandle fics?

Well you offered to beta and that means a lot. I stand by my thanks.

Thanks *squishing hugs* and yes this is set in the same universe at the previous Sandle fics. I see it taking place about two-three months after TTWH, because Sara is just starting to accept having Greg in her life. She's becoming more relaxed around him, hence the kissage in the garage when they thought they were alone. She's still got her boundaries, they're just blurring a bit.

Hey, nice icon *grin*

I love your universe, though I doubt we will ever get to see so much reference to Sandles in the sack if they *dared* to go with our ship! I love seeing them. (oh, and for reference I don't feel sorry for Grissom one single bit...cause I'm a bit evil!)

Too bad they didn't "park" with the car before Sara dismantled...oh, but wait. Making out at potential crime scenes tends to be more up Catherine's alley (Oh, did I just say that?)

"Catherine's alley" seems about right. ;)

Anyway, a fucking wonderful story as always! That's exactly the way I see Gris handle losing his chance at what he could have had! Are the boys in the back room going to let you continue with this storyline?! hmmmm?
