Jersey Beef

This one goes out to bullneck.
While vacationing at the Jersey shore, fotorugger and I came across a late-night motor vehicle accident at which the following beefy cop pics were taken (under difficult light conditions). Also included are a few shot in NYC days later. Click pic for more.

Actually, we initially saw a glow in the night sky a few blocks over from our hotel, and emergency vehicle sirens heading in that direction. Figuring that it was a fire, we armed ourselves with point 'n shoots, Mike's SLR, and my camcorder. Turns out a drunk driver had driven off the road and under a (parked?) pickup truck. No one was injured, but the girl in the pic was a passenger in the offending vehicle. We have shots of the accident but they're not as interesting for an LJ post as the cops :P
